As an ambassador, you’ll motivate your friends, family, colleagues, and classmates to donate to the BU cause that makes you #ProudtoBU.
Lead your way
When you sign up, you’ll have the opportunity to choose an area to support. We’ll provide you with a custom ambassador link that you can post online or send to friends and family. Every time someone uses your link to make a gift, our ambassador leaderboard will update the number of donors and dollars you’ve helped secure!

What is Boston University Giving Day?
BU Giving Day is a one-day online fundraising event that brings together alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends from all over the world to give back, celebrate, and support the areas of BU that mean the most to them.
How is Giving Day different from any other day?
Giving Day is Terrier Nation’s chance to come together and make an impact on BU schools and colleges, teams, programs, and more. In addition, every gift on Giving Day helps earn bonus funds and counts toward challenges with additional matching funds, so gifts make an even bigger impact than normal!
What is the goal?
Our goal is to secure 12,000 donors between 12 am EDT and 11:59 pm PDT on April 11, 2023—that’s 12,000 people coming together for BU.
What if my friends and I can only make a small gift?
Every gift, of every size, makes a difference for the BU community! Giving Day is all about Terrier Nation coming together to make a difference with gifts at every level.
