Boston University Giving Day is a one-day online fundraising drive. Each year, BU Giving Day is a day for alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, and friends from all over the world to come together to give back and celebrate what they care about at BU.
Thanks to a group of generous donors, every gift on Giving Day helps earn bonus funds for BU schools and colleges, teams, and programs. In other words, every gift makes an even bigger impact.
There will also be special one-time challenges that will give areas at BU the chance to compete for additional matching funds. You make a huge difference when you give to BU. And for 24 hours on Giving Day, your gift can do even more.
On Giving Day, come back to bu.edu/givingday and click the "Donate" button to make your gift and be counted in Giving Day 2023.
Absolutely. Support from everyone in the BU community (family, friends, fans, staff, students) counts on this day.
Gifts go where donors want. You may choose to designate your gift to any BU school or college, to a BU Athletics team, to Boston University overall, or to any of our many other funds. Just click “Donate” and select where you’d like to designate your gift.

Yes. All payments will be processed using a secure online giving form. The information collected during Giving Day will be used only by Boston University.

You can always make a recurring gift at bu.edu/give. However, all gifts made through the Giving Day site will be processed as one-time gifts.
