Lucy Wheelock was a pioneer in early education. In the late 1800s, she founded Miss Wheelock’s Kindergarten Training School which eventually became Wheelock College. Now, BU Wheelock continues to uphold the legacy of its namesake by offering specialized graduate programs for students committed to a more equitable, thriving, and just future for all children and their families.
A gift to the Lucy Wheelock Fellowship Fund will help students who pursue early childhood-focused graduate degrees at BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development.
