SUPPORT STUDENT LIFE ON BU GIVING DAY
No two students share the same experience, but at the core of BU’s spirit is a love for all things intellectual, dynamic, and stimulating. Your gift to the Student Life Fund helps enrich and support the vibrant student experience outside the classroom and around campus.
The Student Life Fund enables the Dean of Students to enhance all aspects of student life on campus that are non-academic. For example, Student Activities, Residence Life, Disability Services, Recreational and Club Sports, Career Development, and much, much more. In addition, the fund allows the Deans to provide support for students, particularly those facing unforeseen obstacles. Examples may include providing financial support for a student who has lost his/her belongings due to fire, theft, or other off-campus emergencies, or to aid a student who has unexpectedly lost a parent or guardian or whose parent has lost employment.
RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Parents are a key component of Giving Day, raising tens of thousands of dollars to support students, programs, and causes across Boston University each year. Our goal for this Giving Day? 2,400 parent donors in 24 donors. And on Giving Day, your gift goes further. $10,000 will be unlocked to support BU students when we reach our goal.
