Dear friends of BU men’s rugby,
After a Successful celebration of our 50 years as a club. Your support means the world to us, and we deeply appreciate your contribution to our program. Allow us to outline how we plan to utilize your generous donation from the past and this giving day.
First we want to say we have put a big push into our recruitment efforts. We have had many new, underclass recruits.
With your contribution and the funds raised over the past year from our supportive family and friends, we aim to focus on enhancing our community outreach efforts and upgrading team equipment. Specifically, we intend to invest in film equipment for tactical analysis during games and to share our matches with our alumni and supporters. After dedicating time during our 50th-anniversary weekend to reflect on our club's history, our goal for the upcoming year is to share our experiences, both triumphs and challenges, with our alumni and supporters. Additionally, we aim to improve our team's equipment, particularly focusing on enhancing our tackling and skills through upgraded gear.
Furthermore, our current coach has presented several ideas to the E-Board for consideration regarding investments of both time and money for the club, which we eagerly anticipate discussing.
As a current member of the rugby club and a lifelong players of the sport, we want to extend my gratitude for supporting our club. Your generosity provides young men like us with the opportunity to engage in the sport we love.
Growing up, my father always viewed rugby as a metaphor for life, and as I gain more experience, I increasingly understand the depth of his perspective. This club has granted me invaluable friendships, cherished memories, and a profound joy that cannot be matched by anything else.
