SUPPORT CINEMA & MEDIA STUDIES ON BU GIVING DAY
Your gift to the Cinema & Media Studies program can make a huge difference, allowing us to further our mission of educating students in the history, culture and art of cinema and other media.
Last year, we gathered funds to purchase film equipment to begin introducing production components into our classrooms. We were also able to increase our programming on campus, and have hosted numerous filmmakers and scholars on campus.
This year, we’re thrilled to build upon initiatives we began last year. Your donations can help make these goals possible:
- Inaugurating a fund to support CIMS students pursuing cinema & media summer internships in Massachusetts
- Organizing interactive production workshops by leading professionals holding positions in varying film production roles.
- Helping to fund film screenings, bringing filmmakers to campus and other special events
- Supporting faculty resources for innovative and inclusive course development
- Starting a graduate certificate program to attract brilliant young scholars
Your support will help us expand our dynamic and interdisciplinary program for new generations of students. From helping to fund film series and events, bringing guest speakers to campus, expanding our students’ hand-on learning opportunities, and growing our post-graduate initiatives, donations help our program—and our greater community—thrive.
