Support Jewish Learning at BU Hillel on BU Giving Day

Your gift to support Jewish learning at BU Hillel makes a huge difference. This year, students of all backgrounds are flocking to immersive classes at Hillel. These weekly cohort-based gatherings with Jewish educators are filled with group discussions, text learning, and the kind of community-building done best by eating together (yes, we provide the food!). Help us reach our Giving Day goal of $54,000 to fund the 1,000+ learning sessions that will take place this year!

For 24 hours on BU Giving Day, your gift to support Jewish learning at BU Hillel will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thanks to a group of generous alumni and parent donors. Please take advantage of this exciting challenge and invest in vibrant, pluralistic Jewish life at BU on #BUGivingDay!

Your Giving Matters

BU Hillel inspires, educates, and empowers Boston University students to lead meaningful, joyous Jewish lives. As the center for Jewish life at BU, Hillel offers a full range of religious, educational, and cultural services to BU’s 4,000 Jewish students. From festive Shabbat dinners to pursuing student-initiated projects to sending over 200 students to Israel every year, all Hillel programming is funded by gifts by donors.

Give on April 3 and Your Dollars Are Doubled

The Boston University Hillel community makes things happen, and on BU Giving Day, your gift to BU Hillel will be doubled! By joining this effort, you will be participating in BU’s largest fundraiser of the year and advancing Jewish life on campus at the same time. Spread the word about Jewish learning at BU, and make sure you give on April 3!

Why Donate?

Learning and all other programming at Hillel is free and open to all students at BU, and 100% of the costs are funded by the generosity of our donors. Every gift and every dollar matters and enables more students to participate and build community together.
